From John's Place in Ashford

John and I had a great ride from his place. He and Brian have done a lot of work to make some trails from their houses. Brian did some sweeping on a long section of trail, it looked like grooming at a golf course or something. I think he needs to bring his vacuum cleaner down there next!

Nick's Wild Ride

This is from a few weeks ago, Nick crashed a few times and one of them completely blew the tire off his bike! Stan's slime everywhere...a mutant organism came out of that tire as well...what exactly is in Stan's Sealant anyway?!

Turkey Morning Ride

Pete, Nick and I got out at North Fort to do some trail maintenance. Nice little ride! Pete has a really great hand saw, we did some damage to the damage.

Thursday Night....

In case you are checking in here...we are riding at North Fort until the end of November. This pic: John was the only one to test the slippery slope, then decided to cut it short and ride back to the car. Brian and I took Pat on an adventure, some hike a bike, and I hit redline, haven't done that in a while.

Black Diamond, and One From Banner

There was only one good shot from Banner last week, Jeff, fitting because he was "on" that night. Low light with my little Lumix, some flash and some high ISO. John took the shot of me!

Duthie Hill Jumping

Mattie, John and Nick were jumping, Pat and I were watching. It was a fun ride between the jumps as well. John did one of the big jumps for the first time, then later almost crashed on it! He did a no-footer!

Pat's Birthday Night at Banner

We celebrated Pat's birthday again at Banner, smaller group, but great ride. We played on some stunts, got some good fast trail riding. Everyone was pretty beat except for Pat, he was feeling like he could keep going for hours. He's lost some weight and is working out more. When he first started with us, he was the guy trailing in the back, now it is a much different story, it is cool to see! Nick beat his bike up, Matty was performing for us as usual, John was still a bit spooked by his platform pedals and I was skipping most of the stunts to take pics. Although the one I tried I made! No Jeff, we was "feeling a bit under the weather", Tony had a family emergency, and Brian is experiencing the softer side of life...

Thursday Night at Osborne Mt.

I'm back in the saddle with the TNR group again, and found out I am in horrible shape. We shuttled part of the climb, and I still got quite a good workout. Mattie rode a few logs, Nick had his new bike (Blur LT carbon, King on King on King) John pushed the big bike, Brian rode the Stink, Jeff had the big bike as well, and I was just trying to keep up.

Tony, Marcus and I at Banner

Marcus did a really great job mountain biking at Banner with Tony and I. He rode a few ladders, navigated some really nasty roots and cruised on some really sweet singletrack! Later Tony showed Marcus a few chops on the drums! Good day :) Thanks Tony!

Back in the Saddle Again

I made it out to a Thursday Night for the first time since February. I took the Spring off to coach track. It was great to get back. Here is a pic of John with a bit of Photoshopping!
