This tree is about 8 feet in diameter where it crosses the trail here (Skookum), and is resting about 4 feet above the ground.

Skookum w/Marcus & Eli

We had a great adventure at Skookum. We started from the Buck Creek end and rode to the first river/stream crossing and took some long exposure pictures. I think Eli got the best ones, maybe he will send those to me to post. Marcus crashed a few times on the slippery diagonal roots. That seems like something you have to learn for yourself (right Tony)!

Puddle-ishous!

With my little Lumix set at 1/1000 sec and the boys willing to blitz the puddle, all I had to do is push the button, and get a bit wet!

Time Pedals

These are the Time Atac Platform pedal. These are Mattie's, I have Time Atac's on all of my bikes. They rule, especially in the mud.

It was a sunny day, but it hammered down rain yesterday. So we had some spots of slop!

Thursday Night At John's (and Brian's)

I brought the big camera w/speedlight, remotes, tripod, etc. John and Brian have built a really great trail set from their houses. We all brought Papa Murphy's, good ride, John had some left over homemade beer that he had to get rid of...no problem!

From John's Place in Ashford

John and I had a great ride from his place. He and Brian have done a lot of work to make some trails from their houses. Brian did some sweeping on a long section of trail, it looked like grooming at a golf course or something. I think he needs to bring his vacuum cleaner down there next!

Nick's Wild Ride

This is from a few weeks ago, Nick crashed a few times and one of them completely blew the tire off his bike! Stan's slime everywhere...a mutant organism came out of that tire as well...what exactly is in Stan's Sealant anyway?!

Turkey Morning Ride

Pete, Nick and I got out at North Fort to do some trail maintenance. Nice little ride! Pete has a really great hand saw, we did some damage to the damage.
